How to upload files AND set metadata from the SharePoint mobile app

 he Office 365 mobile app experience is amazing. The SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive apps provide some fantastic value. One thing that is always asked is how can we upload a file AND set the metadata on the file directly form the SharePoint mobile app.

Yep we can access the files but we can only created folders, go figure. We can also access the files from Teams, but not upload. Then there is OneDrive, this is the app that we can upload files to and use our device camera. But we can’t set the metadata.

Let’s take a look at a way we can implement the ability to upload files AND set the metadata right from within the SharePoint mobile app.
